Kim & Doug were married at La Valencia, just like John and I (only that was, ahem, back in 1996...). Love that spot! Their ceremony was at Calvary Lutheran in Solana Beach. This was an especially nice wedding for us to shoot, as Kim and Doug were referred to us by a couple whose wedding we shot on FILM back in 2001! How cool is that? Thank you Rachel, and best wishes to you!

Keri's Smokin' Hot Boudoir Session!
We recently started shooting boudoir images for our brides. What is boudoir photography? Many brides have asked us to do intimate session with them before the wedding, in their favorite lingerie. These sessions are smokin' hot! We create sizzling little albums for brides to give to their new husbands on their wedding night. Other brides come back to us on their first or fifth anniversary to create an intimate little gift. We also have a lot of military wives with husbands overseas who want to send something really special. Keri, bless her heart, let us put some of her photos online for you. We shot her engagement session in 2007 (and John won First Place in the coveted WPPI International 8x10 Contest with one of her images). We shot her wedding at The Prado in 2008. She flew back to us from South Carolina last month to produce a really gorgeous boudoir album for her husband, Beau, a pilot in Afghanistan. We love you Keri!!
Lulu & John at Mary Star of the Sea & Darlington House
Lulu & John boldly planned their wedding for Halloween night! Somehow the guests behaved themselves, no sugar bingers that I could detect. Lulu is a catering manager at The Hard Rock in Downtown San Diego, and as you might imagine, she has fabulous style and impeccable good taste. I loved every detail. the ceremony was at the always lovely Mary Star of the Sea in La Jolla, followed by reception at The Darlington House, which I also love. Lulu, you are so boo-tiful (sorry, couldn't help myself).
