Kim & Doug were married at La Valencia, just like John and I (only that was, ahem, back in 1996...). Love that spot! Their ceremony was at Calvary Lutheran in Solana Beach. This was an especially nice wedding for us to shoot, as Kim and Doug were referred to us by a couple whose wedding we shot on FILM back in 2001! How cool is that? John and I got married in La Jolla at La Valencia way back in...well, let's just say way back. So it has a soft spot in our heart. Always elegant, historic, and yet still with a classically San Diego laid-back hacienda casualness. Combine that with a ceremony at nearby Mary Star of the Sea, and you have a colorful, soulful, truly San Diego experience. Just lovely. Note the infrared with textured overlays here. I just love them!
