The Mt. Woodson Estate, sometimes know as the Amy Strong Castle, is an amazing place. You could shoot forever here, there are so many unique spots. The theme here was "Black and White", and with the simple red rose presentations, the effect is rich and classically elegant. A beautiful wedding.

Candice+Wade's La Jolla Engagement Session - Aquario Studio - San Diego Wedding Photography

Another Texan couple! Candice thought it would be fun to get some photos done at the beach during their vacation. Wade took it a little step further when he actually PROPOSED to her DURING the shoot. Wow. Totally took her by surprise. Of course, she said yes, and once she had cleaned up her mascara we got lots more great photos for their engagement session!

Farinaz + Paymon @ The Prado and The Manchester Grand Hyatt - Aquario Studio - San Diego Wedding Photography

Wow! This was a fabulous wedding. Farinaz was gorgeous and the décor by Laura Rizzo at Weddings by Design and Ana Aftahi at Floral Works was stunning. The Persian ceremony was at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, with an elaborate traditional sofreh. The couple went over to Balboa Park for some romantic photos, then back to the Hyatt for an all-out Red Bull-fueled dancing extravaganza! Oh, did I mention it was the bride's birthday as well?? What a perfect day.
