Ah, The fabulous U.S. Grant. Few places in San Diego convey the elegance and history, and you can't beat the Downtown location. Lisa Lippe and her team from Details Defined handled all the details with ease.
Notice the AMAZING décor at Tracie and Joel's Rancho Santa Fe wedding? Yup, that's Ana Aftahi at Floral Works, at it again. She does rich jewel tones so beautifully.
John pulled out all the stops for this perfect wedding at the charming historic Darlington House in La Jolla. Its been awhile since he got to shoot a wedding there, and you can tell he is enjoying himself. The weather was fine, and the sunset stunning. I'm not sure how they arranged the trolley, but I love it. Lot's of infrared with textured overlays in here as well.
Nate the Great (our talented Jack-of all-trades) shot this one of us for our Ceremony magazine head shot. (I needed another vertical image, so I added the one of our 2 year old, Ingo.) Need your RAW files processed? A fantastic assistant or second shooter? How about a new website? Nate's your man. He can also file papers and ship packages.
Megan and Barrett are getting married next year, but they came out from Colorado to do their engagement session. They LOVE baseball, so Petco Park in downtown San Diego seemed like a great place. It was a perfect fit for their fun personalities, and the colors really pop to match the mood.
Fiona and Zachery had a great artistic approach to their Scottish-themed wedding. They also managed to find their way to three of San Diego's best spots! Fiona began her preparations at La'Auberge Hotel in Del Mar, with the ceremony at nearby Seagrove Park. We were able to spend some time shooting on the cliffs and down on the beach, and then they drove off in their cute vintage car. We met up with them at the always fabulous Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. I love the infrared images here, with textured overlays.
